What is Kariant for Developers?
Kariant's developer surface is early but real. Today it spans three areas: the KlickKB business LLM console and API, copy-paste embeds for listings and badges, and agent-interoperability protocols that are rolling out to external developers.
What it islink
Kariant for Developers covers the ways you can build with — and on top of — Kariant. The platform is AI-native and agent-ready by design, and it exposes that in stages: some surfaces are live today, others are rolling out. This page tells you exactly which is which.
KlickKB — the business LLMlink
KlickKB is Kariant's business LLM: models grounded in the Kariant listings index (software, AI tools, services, franchise) with business-context retrieval and web grounding, packaged into tiers with a flat Koin price per query (1 Koin = $1). The console at kariant.app/klickkb includes a playground, the model lineup, docs, pricing, benchmarks, use cases, and signed-in API key and usage pages.
Honest status: part of the model lineup serves live through Kariant's secure AI gateway, while the fine-tuned flagship models are still in training and labeled as such. You can issue API keys now, but keys are created in a pending-activation state and turn active only when the public serving endpoint goes live — you are not billed before activation.
Embeds and badgeslink
Two embed surfaces are live today and need no build step. The badge embed generator produces a self-contained HTML snippet for earned badges — Top Rated, Category Leader, Momentum Leader, Users Love Us, and Verified Partner — that links back to your Kariant listing from your own site.
Listing embeds (via Kariant Distribution) let you place a listing card, a full detail page, or a curated collection on any site using iframe, plain HTML, WordPress, or React snippets, with click attribution built in.
Agent protocols and where to startlink
Kariant is built on open, interoperable agent standards: Model Context Protocol (MCP) tool servers expose major surfaces — content management, franchise discovery, market and demand intelligence, and more — to AI agents, and an agent-to-agent (A2A) layer handles capability discovery and structured task exchange. These protocols run in production inside the platform today; external developer access and public endpoint documentation are rolling out and will appear in these docs as they ship — nothing here is promised before it is live.
To start today: open kariant.app/klickkb and try the playground, issue an API key so you are ready at activation, and grab badge or listing embeds if you have a Kariant listing. For early access to anything marked rolling out, contact support@kariant.app.
Frequently asked questions
Can I call the KlickKB API today?expand_more
You can use the playground and issue API keys now. Keys are created pending-activation and turn active when the public serving endpoint goes live — you will not be billed before activation.
How is KlickKB usage billed?expand_more
A flat Koin price per query, set by tier (1 Koin = $1). Playground usage on the default tier follows the platform free-tier policy.
Is there a public MCP or A2A endpoint I can integrate with?expand_more
Not yet as a generally available surface. The MCP and A2A protocols run in production inside Kariant; external developer access is rolling out and will be documented here when it ships.
