Connect your channels
Everything in Konvert starts from a connected channel. The Connect page (/connect) walks you through each one — here is what every channel needs.
Instagram & Messenger (Meta)link
Instagram now connects directly: sign in with your Instagram professional (business or creator) account and approve the connection — no Facebook Page required. Messenger runs on a Facebook Page, so it is connected separately through a Facebook Page authorization.
- 1On /connect, choose Connect under Instagram.
- 2Sign in with your Instagram professional account and approve the requested permissions.
- 3Your Instagram account appears under Connected Accounts when the authorization completes.
- check_circleYour Instagram must be a professional (business or creator) account — personal accounts cannot receive automation events. No Facebook Page is required.
- check_circleAccess tokens are stored encrypted and refreshed automatically; if a token cannot be refreshed you will see a reconnect prompt on the dashboard.
WhatsApp (Cloud API)link
WhatsApp connects with your own WhatsApp Business Cloud API credentials — Konvert sends and receives on your number.
- 1In your Meta developer/business settings, note your Phone Number ID, your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA) ID, and a permanent access token.
- 2On /connect, choose WhatsApp and paste the three values.
- 3Send a test message to confirm the connection before pointing automations at it.
Telegramlink
- 1Create a bot with @BotFather in Telegram and copy the bot token.
- 2On /connect, choose Telegram and paste the token. Inbound messages to your bot start flowing into Konvert immediately.
Web chat widgetlink
The web chat channel gives you a copy-paste snippet that renders a chat widget on your own site. Conversations from the widget arrive in the unified inbox and can trigger automations and flows like any other channel.
Email senderlink
Connect an email sender identity to run email campaigns and email automations. Konvert handles delivery, open/click tracking and the compliance footer (including one-click unsubscribe) for you.
SMS (bring your own Twilio / MSG91)link
SMS is bring-your-own-provider: connect your Twilio or MSG91 credentials and Konvert sends through your account, so your existing sender IDs, compliance registrations and provider pricing apply.
TikTok — coming soonlink
TikTok is visible on the Connect page but not yet live. It will appear as connectable the moment the integration ships — nothing to configure until then.
