Booking requests and their lifecycle
A booking request is the marketplace's RFP: you add the media you want to your bag, submit the request, and the partner takes it from there — review, quote, and completion. Every request moves through a clear, visible lifecycle.
Submitting a requestlink
- 1Add the media channel(s) you want to your bag from their detail pages (marketing.kariant.app/bag holds your selection).
- 2Open your bag and submit the booking request with your requirements.
- 3The request goes to the partner who owns the listing — you can track it from your dashboard.
The request lifecyclelink
Every booking request moves through the same stages, and both sides see the current stage at all times:
- check_circleSubmitted — your request is in, and the partner is notified.
- check_circlePartner review — the partner evaluates your requirements.
- check_circleQuoted — the partner responds with a quote (optionally carrying a Koin deposit — see the deposit article).
- check_circleAccepted or declined — you accept the quote to move ahead, or either side can decline.
- check_circleCompleted — the booking is fulfilled and closed out.
- check_circleCancel — a request can also be cancelled along the way; any deposit hold is fully refunded.
After completionlink
Once a booking completes, you can leave a review on the media listing, and the partner's completion milestone is credited on their side. Completed requests stay visible in your history.
Frequently asked questions
Is submitting a request a purchase?expand_more
No. A booking request is a request for proposal — nothing is charged when you submit. A payment obligation only enters the picture if you accept a quote that carries an optional Koin deposit.
Can I cancel a request?expand_more
Yes — requests can be cancelled. If a deposit hold was funded, cancellation fully refunds it to your wallet.
What happens if the partner declines?expand_more
The request closes at declined, and any funded deposit hold is fully refunded to you.
