Formats, dates & eligibility

Each format has its own exam day between 11 and 14 October 2026 (IST) — Skollar India Junior Quiz 2026 on 11 Oct, Skollar India Quiz 2026 on 12 Oct, Skollar Global Junior Quiz 2026 on 13 Oct, Skollar Global Quiz 2026 on 14 Oct, all starting 12:00 PM IST. Your dashboard and confirmation email show your exact date. Results and final ranks are published collectively on 15 October 2026, and cash-prize crediting starts the next day once each winner’s ID is verified.

There are two registration windows. Early Bird has been extended: it now runs until 2 September 2026, 11:59 PM IST AND is limited to the first 1,000 successful registrations in each format — whichever happens first. It has had two phases: the original discounted phase, which closed 15 August 2026, and the extended phase from 16 August to 2 September at the standard fee — the price in that phase is the same as Standard, but the 100% fee-back applies. If a format fills its 1,000 places before 2 September, Early Bird closes for that format straight away, while the other formats carry on. Register in the Early Bird window and the fee you pay comes back to you as Koins. Standard registration runs from 3 September to 10 October 2026 and does not include the fee-back. The countdown on your dashboard always counts to the next thing that actually applies to you, so what it shows changes as you move through the season. Before you have a confirmed registration it counts to the registration deadline in force at that moment: the Early Bird close while Early Bird is still open, and the 10 October 2026 close once Early Bird is over — and in that second window it says plainly that the fee-back no longer applies.

Once your payment is confirmed it switches to your own exam day and time. If you are registered for more than one format it follows your next exam, and your other formats are listed underneath with their own dates, so one number is never asked to stand for two different exams. Once your exam or exams are behind you it points at results day, 15 October 2026, instead.

If registration has closed and you did not enter, there is no countdown at all — we will not count you down to an exam you cannot sit. And if we cannot read your registrations for a moment, the dashboard says so rather than guessing: your seat is unaffected either way.

Junior formats are for school students in Class 8–12 (or recent Class 12 pass-outs). Senior formats are open to undergraduate students to anyone up to age 30. India formats need you to be in India. The registration form checks this for you, and we check it again before taking any payment — so an entry you are not eligible for is stopped before you are charged.
