Boost mechanics
Boost is a Koin-bid auction for labeled sponsored slots inside AI answers and accelerated rank in discovery. Here is exactly how the auction, the caps, and auto-defend work.
The auctionlink
Boost runs as an auction funded in Koins, with three bid modes: CPM (per thousand impressions), CPC (per click), and CPA (per action). Your bid competes with other partners’ bids, weighted by relevance — an irrelevant listing cannot simply outbid its way into an answer.
You pay only for real engagement in your chosen mode: impressions served, clicks made, or actions completed.
The two-slot cap and labelinglink
Sponsored presence inside AI answers is deliberately constrained: a maximum of two sponsored slots per AI response, and every sponsored slot is labeled as such. Organic citations continue alongside — Boost adds labeled slots; it never rewrites or replaces the organic answer.
Auto-defend and the surchargelink
Auto-defend keeps your position without babysitting the auction: when a competitor outbids you, auto-defend raises your bid to hold the slot, up to your limit. Defended wins carry a surcharge on top of the base clearing price — the price of automation — so manual bidders are never structurally outgunned. Configure it per campaign with a hard ceiling.

Frequently asked questions
Can Boost put me in every AI answer?expand_more
No. Sponsored slots are capped at two per response and gated by relevance. Boost accelerates a relevant listing; it cannot force an irrelevant one.
Will buyers know my slot is sponsored?expand_more
Yes — every Boost slot is labeled. That transparency is what keeps AI answers trusted, which is what makes the slots valuable.
What exactly does auto-defend cost?expand_more
Defended wins pay the auction price plus a surcharge for the automation. Your configured ceiling is always respected — auto-defend never bids past it.
