Run projects in Kanvas Lab
Kanvas Lab (/platform/kanvas) is the testing ground for business ideation and stack testing: create a project, let AI scope it against real competitor and pricing data, and open it to work.
Create a projectlink
Projects do not have to start from the form: Arkitekt’s Export to Kanvas creates a Kanvas project directly from a generated architecture, or adds it to an existing project as an implementation task.
- 1Sign in and open /platform/kanvas (signed-out visitors see the product overview instead).
- 2Click New Ideation Project and fill in the Start New Project form — a project name and an objective/description.
- 3Click Create Project. It appears as a card; opening the card takes you into the project’s own workspace.
AI project scopinglink
The AI Project Scope action turns your objective into a plan: 4–6 milestones, a recommended tool stack (preferring Kariant-listed tools), the top risks, a budget range with breakdown, a feasibility score, quick wins, and competitor benchmarks.
Scoping is grounded — the AI uses Google Search to verify competitor data and tool pricing rather than guessing — and is metered as AI usage like other analyses on the platform.
Work the project boardlink
Opening a project takes you to its own workspace: a three-column task board (To Do, In Progress, Completed). New Task Node adds a task with a title, description, and priority; Advance moves it through the columns; and clicking a card opens the Node Inspector, where title and description edit inline and save as you type. AI Architect generates a starter set of task nodes from the project’s name and objective.
Inside the Node Inspector each task offers two on-request AI actions: a Recommended Architecture insight (generated only when you ask, and cached per task) and Smart Delegation — Find Assignee matches the task against your real team roster and suggests an assignee with a confidence score, priority, time estimate, and alternatives. You can also Agentify the project or any single task to create an AI agent mirror for it.
The Project Flow section turns the project’s tasks and stack into a workflow diagram — generate it from a prompt or straight from the project, then edit and save it on the same canvas Flow uses. The diagram stays private to the project.
Workload Index and delegationlink
The Workload Index card is honestly labeled as derived from your active project count — it is a load heuristic, not a measured metric. When it runs high, Delegation Suggestions activates: Delegate All creates an AI project agent for every project that lacks one, each capable of stack-feasibility analysis and competitor benchmarking.
Frequently asked questions
Is the AI scope based on real market data?expand_more
Yes — the scoping call runs with Google Search grounding, so competitor references and pricing come from live search results, not model memory.
What does “Delegate All” actually do?expand_more
It creates AI project agents for your projects — automated analysts, not assignments to human teammates.
