Create a keyword automation
Automations are Konvert's core loop: a trigger (a keyword in a comment or DM) fires actions (public reply, DM, link button, lead capture) on a connected account.
Build itlink
- 1Go to /automations and choose New Automation (or start from a template on /templates).
- 2Pick the connected account and the trigger — for example a comment containing a keyword, a DM keyword, or a story reply.
- 3Enter your trigger keywords (comma-separated). Matching is case-insensitive; you can also exclude words.
- 4Add actions: a public comment reply, a DM (text and/or link buttons), or a lead-capture prompt. Personalize with variables like the sender's name.
- 5Save, then activate it from the automations list — automations start in draft and only fire once activated.
Editing, pausing and daily capslink
- check_circleOpen any automation from the list to edit its trigger and actions; changes apply to future events.
- check_circlePause/resume from the list at any time. Paused automations keep their stats.
- check_circleSet a daily send cap per automation to bound spend and stay well inside platform rate limits. When the cap is reached the automation skips further matches until the daily reset.
- check_circlePer-user de-duplication (when enabled) prevents the same person from triggering the same automation repeatedly in a short window.

Why isn't my automation firing?expand_more
Check three things: it is Active (not draft/paused), the account it is attached to shows healthy on the dashboard, and the daily cap has not been reached. Story replies and comments only arrive for professional accounts connected through Meta.
Comment-to-DMlink
The signature pattern: someone comments your keyword on a post, Konvert replies publicly (so the thread looks alive) and simultaneously DMs them the link or content they asked for. Because the DM is a reply to their engagement, it lands inside the platform's messaging window.
