Set up conversion tracking with the Kariant Pixel
The Kariant Pixel connects what happens on your own website back to your Kariant listing — so a buyer who discovers you on Kariant and signs up on your site shows up as an attributed conversion in your console.
How attribution workslink
When a buyer clicks through from your Kariant listing to your website, the link carries a kclid tracking parameter. The pixel captures it, and when that buyer later converts — creates an account, starts a trial, or subscribes — you fire a tracking event. The conversion is attributed to your listing and appears in your Kontinue dashboard and Sales dashboard.
On-platform events (listing visits, demo bookings, quote requests) are tracked automatically without any setup. The pixel is what extends attribution to conversions that happen off-platform, on your own site.
Install the pixellink
The pixel is a single async script tag served from kariant.app (kariant-pixel.js). It needs to be on every page of your website so the kclid parameter is captured no matter where the buyer lands.
- 1In the partner console, open Pixel Setup (Partner → Pixel Setup).
- 2Copy the pixel snippet with the copy button.
- 3Paste it into every page of your website — ideally in the <head>, or just before </body>.
- 4Deploy your site. The pixel now captures kclid parameters from Kariant traffic automatically.
Track the three conversion eventslink
Fire a tracking call at each conversion point in your product. Each event has a copy-ready snippet on the Pixel Setup page, and each verified conversion carries a fixed Koin price (shown in Sikka for India accounts):
- check_circleSign-up — fire when a user creates an account. 25 Koins per verified sign-up. Optionally pass the user's email.
- check_circleFree trial — fire when a user starts a trial. 50 Koins per verified trial start. Optionally pass the plan name.
- check_circleSubscription — fire when a user subscribes to a paid plan. 100 Koins per verified subscription. Include the value, currency, and plan so your ROI calculator can track real revenue.
Verify your installationlink
After installing, visit your own website with ?kclid=test_verification appended to the URL, then trigger a test conversion. It should appear in your Conversions dashboard (Kontinue → Conversions) within about 60 seconds.
Once live, conversions also flow into your Sales dashboard (Partner → My Sales), where you can see tracked value, event breakdowns, and export everything as CSV.
Frequently asked questions
Does the pixel charge me for regular traffic?expand_more
No. Clicks and visits from Kariant are not billed. Koins are charged only per verified conversion event you fire (sign-up, trial, subscription) — and organic leads remain free and unlimited.
Do I need a developer to install it?expand_more
The pixel itself is a single copy-paste script tag. Firing the conversion events requires adding one line of code at each conversion point in your product, so a developer typically wires those in a few minutes.
Why should I include revenue on subscription events?expand_more
Passing value and currency lets Kariant compute real revenue tracked, ROI, and cost per conversion on your Kontinue and Sales dashboards. Without it, the conversion is counted but carries no dollar value.
